From technically advanced birthing care to a Women's Unit dedicated entirely to the care of women requiring surgical treatment for various gynecologic conditions, the Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital is the region's premier healthcare provider for women of all ages.
For expectant mothers and their families, the hospital boasts an all-private room Labor and Delivery unit with generous, in-room family space with comfortable chairs and a sleeper sofa. Hydrotherapy, including portable labor tubs and multi-head spa showers, are but a few of the amenities that ensure each delivery meets the unique needs of each family's birth plan.
In addition, the Antepartum Unit and Mother/Baby Unit further supplement the birthing experience at the Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital by providing unique environments for expectant mothers before and after delivery. A unit for women with high-risk pregnancies, our Antepartum Unit is designed for comfort and visiting family, including a suite retreat and outdoor patio. Meanwhile, our Mother/Baby Unit provides post-delivery care to mothers and babies in a private, family-centered environment.
Women admitted to the hospital needing gynecological treatment, including gynecological oncology, are also served at the Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital. Women treated in this unit benefit from all-private rooms and a highly specialized medical staff.
