Community Outreach
New Hanover Regional Medical Center strives to make health care more accessible and affordable throughout the region. Network hospitals provide more than $40 million a year in indigent and uncompensated care, often to those who would have no other access to health care.
NHRMC's community outreach programs bring care and information into the community so more people can find what they need to live healthier lives. Many of the programs are made possible in part by grants from foundations and other funding agencies.
